2010 Gettysburg Horse Trails

Before we know it Spring will be here and it will be time to make your trail riding plans for the Spring, Summer and Fall.  If you are planning on riding the Gettysburg National Military Park keep the Gettysburg Equestrian Historical Society in mind.  Consider joining us on one of our 4 guided rides this year.  We will be riding in May, June, September and October.  Just click on “Trail Rides” at the top of the page or “trail ride information” in the Categories on the right side of the page, for more information and down-loadable forms.

If you are planning to camp with your horse it is not too early to contact Artillery Ridge Campground and make you reservations for a camp site and stabling for your horses.

Consider becoming a member of the Gettysburg Equestrian Historical Society and helping Preserve your Ride into History.  If you love riding the battlefield at Gettysburg, then join us and help maintain the trails and protect our privilage to ride.  Many national parks are now closed to equestrian activities.  We do not want Gettysburg to join this ever growing list.  The Gettysburg Equestrian Historical Society is dedicated to working with the National Park Service to keep the equine trails open to all horse lovers.
